Fulfillment Center, Pt. 1 (2023) centers on a twenty-channel video documenting a ten-hour shift of an Amazon delivery worker navigating New York City. Filmed from both front and rear angles, the video captures the physical demands, monotony, and pace of a standard workday. The footage serves as both portrait and observation of labor within the logistics-driven infrastructure of contemporary commerce.
Exhibited at SPACES in Cleveland, the installation expands through three sculptural works: FC_Courier and FC_Uniform, physical remnants from the video, and FC_Prime Delivery Map (Cleveland), an interactive wall piece inviting visitors to locate their homes and connect them to the nearest Amazon Fulfillment Center in Northern Ohio. Together, the works invite reflection on the visibility of essential labor, regional supply chains, and the human toll embedded in “next-day delivery.”
